Halloween Safety Tips!
With Halloween right around the corner it is important that we talk about safety to ensure our children have fun & most importantly stay safe!
- Always walk on sidewalks and pathways when available. If those aren’t accessible, walk facing traffic as far left as possible.
- Choose light & reflective costumes! For fun give your children a glow stick or flashlight to carry so they can see as well as be seen!
- Only visit homes with their porch lights on and never enter a home without parent permission!
- Examine your children's candy before letting them eat it!
- Be alert of others around you!
- If your children are old enough to venture off alone, make sure you have a specific route planned out for them to take!
- Stay in groups!
