So you have been in the business for 25 years, you are great at what you do, not one REALTOR in your area gets a client a better deal than you, all very commendable, however, we are in new times! 2. Use a Smart Phone

A text is a lot less invasive, and other agents like you are busy people. Texting they can continue to do what they are doing and answer your questions and concerns. A smart phone will also allow for you to take quick pictures of the properties you will be listing, even if a photographer will be coming soon, the need for them now is priority.
Your files will never again be left on your desk or computer! 4. Ditch your fax!
Faxes destroy the quality of documents. You can now link a “FAX” number to an email, so even when someone is still using a fax you don’t have to! Let’s speak truth, email is way more efficient than standing by that old problematic fax machine. So ditch it! Get a scanner and email account and don’t look back!
Market yourself where the young people meander! Facebook, Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo Homes, Craigslist…the possibilities are endless! This one we could never emphasize enough, without marketing you will not get any business; referrals can only get you so far in a business where everyone knows somebody. Just keep in mind what you are not doing someone out there is, so get out there and show your face!
