Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas!
You have been running around doing all the things to get the kids everything they need for the Halloween parties at school, and making sure their costumes are exactly what they wanted, but what about your Halloween Party?
We have some last minute ideas!
The Old School Ghost!
What could be difficult about a white sheet with eye holes, some shred towards the end and maybe some red staining for the creepy ghost look! Traditional but ohhhh so good!
This one requires having a few things, but nothing out of reach. A long skirt, an off the shoulder blouse, long jingly earrings, a colorful scarf you can wear on your head and one to tie around your waist, and if you have any jingly chain or belt, you are officially a gypsy!
Yes, the paper towel man! That one is very easy but very clever. All you will need is jeans, a flannel shirt, brown belt and boots! Maybe carry a roll of paper towel for humor, and you are ready to clean up all the messes!
Camp Counselors (Great for Couples)
Everyone remembers a good camp counselor outfit or a funny one at least. A sweat band, pair of jogging shorts, high colorful socks, sneakers and an outdoors(y) t-shirt would make for a very funny costume. You might have to visit your local thrift shop to find a camp related t-shirt, but that would still be very inexpensive. Oh don’t forget a whistle around your neck!
Very classic but very easy to do, tropical shirt, cargo shorts, ankle high socks, a visor, the largest camera you can find around your neck, and don’t forget your fanny pack!
5 TIPS FOR THE OUTDATED REALTOR
So you have been in the business for 25 years, you are great at what you do, not one REALTOR in your area gets a client a better deal than you, all very commendable, however, we are in new times! We make deals happen in half the time, everyone needs an immediate response and our clients like UPDATES! Our clients also deploy, sometimes they buy homes without seeing them, and that would not be possible without the technology our team uses to simplify the process. If you want to make it a pleasant experience for not just your client, but the other realtor and all those involved in the purchase of a home, here are 5 things that can help.
Dotloop provides a cloud-based service where agents, buyers and sellers can all view, change and sign documents online, instead of printing, signing and faxing them back and forth. You can get a whole contract ratified without ever leaving your house or office. The convenience of DotLoop is priceless!
2. Use a Smart Phone
You might be able to call people from that old flip phone you have, but most people don’t want to receive a phone call after working hours. A text is a lot less invasive, and other agents like you are busy people. Texting they can continue to do what they are doing and answer your questions and concerns. A smart phone will also allow for you to take quick pictures of the properties you will be listing, even if a photographer will be coming soon, the need for them now is priority.
Your files will never again be left on your desk or computer! This cloud-based program can be accessed online from anywhere (hint: even your smart phone) and make your documents accessible from anywhere you are.
5 Ideas For a Great Housewarming Event!
You have spent weeks stressing over documents, boxing up your valuables and closing dates, but now you are a HOMEOWNER! You start unpacking and arranging your belongings when suddenly it all comes together. YOU LOVE YOUR NEW PLACE!
What better way to show it off than a housewarming party. Everyone likes a party and there is no better reason to get all your friends together (plus, now they won’t have the “I don’t know where you live, that’s why I don’t come over” excuse) Housewarmings are a chance for you to show what you have accomplished, and your friends are going to love it.
Here are 5 themes to set your housewarming party apart from the rest!
1. A stock the Bar Party!
Your friends will want to buy you a housewarming present, so why not make it easy on them. It can be beer, liquor, wine or even barware! Your invitations can have martini or champagne glasses; you can also use them as décor around the house. It will also make the food choices easy, things like sliders, potato skins, roasted almonds, and chicken wings would all be perfect.
2. A Keys Theme Party!
Use the significance of the keys you just received as a theme! You can use them in invitations, and around the house. You can purchase some skeleton keys at a local hardware store assign each key a number and a guest, later in the evening you can call out a number and this person can get a memorable gift of your choosing! Cheeses, wines, some fruits and dark chocolates would be the perfect pairing for this classy gathering!
3. A Garden Party!
Your new home might have wonderful landscaping, so gather your friends outside and take advantage of this.
